July 1982 Trip Plan for the Marshall Istands Radiological Safety Program
I.

Trip Objectives

The objectives are to conduct whole-body counting (WBC) and to collect
urine and fecal samples for future analyses from former Bikini Atoll
residents, from current Rongelap Atoll residents and from a baseline
comparison group who have resided only at Majuro Atoll or Kili Island.
All
persons

from these places,

age five and older,

shall be invited

to participate

in the programs.
Secondary objectives are to provide historic whole-body
counting results and urine bioassay results to the RongalapesSe and former
Bikinians and to repair the Rongelap Island wind generator.
