Attached is a copy of the latest Medical Survey of Rongelap
People Five and Six Years after Exposure to Fallout. We
have just received this from Dr. Conard, Medical Department,
Brookhaven National Laboratory.
As summarized on pages 55-58, the Marshallese are not
showing abnomnalities clearly associated with their 1954
exposure to radiation.
They do continue to show, however,
in addition to the expected body burdens of Cesium-137 and
Strontium-90, small amounts of Zinc-65 burdens which appear
to have originated from the seafood in their diet.
