I I The major objective of the Eniwetok radiological survey and cleanup study will be to collect further information on the present radiological condi- I ~ tion of the islands, which will assist in planning for another extensive \ survey tentatively scheduled for August/September 1972. In general, the survey will emphasize the islands which have been least damaged or contaminated by nuclear testing and would be most habitable. This will include radiation surveys and collection of soil, vegetation . and animar samples where appropriate and time allows. The Eniwetok survey will be conducted over a period of about seven days.
