General Starbird reviewed material to be presented ata
briefing for British and Canadian observers at Operation REDWING .
Mr. Murray indicated that he had not anticipated that the
briefing would be as extensive as outlined in Appendix "B" of
AEC 787/34, and inquired why such detailed information was to be
disclosed,
General Starbird said the briefing had been prepared
so that it might be of assistance to the U, K. and Canada in
planning their future nuclear weapons test operation:.

answer to a question by Mr. Murray, General Starbird said
that
AEC 737/34 did not specifically state that no Restricted Data
