Dear Bill:

Enclosed is a copy of a letter I have received from Dr. Peck.

His

suggested use of the Assembly Hall on Enue is something that we should

strongly consider.

I have talked with Col. Gomes and Tommy McGraw and

they state that this building is well preserved, with a thick concrete

slab floor. McGraw states that the radioactivity inside of this building
is quite low. All in all I believe that the use of this existing structure
should be entirely satisfactory for our purpose, provided of course, that
we have the generator and water available. Since the building is quite
large the matter of whether this is used in conjunction with the dispensary
is of no great importance. From my previous drawings you know about what
our space requirements will be. Perhaps even one of the existing rooms
would be satisfactory.

without this.

However, I would hope that we would be able to solve it

Still no word from the TT about the use of the ship which puts us
pretty much on the spot. I have already obtained reservations for the
team and certainly hope that the time schedule as submitted to Mr. Norwood
will be confirmed.

Robert A. Conard, M.D.
