sequent days. With this restriction in mind, Fig. 7 reveals the collection of fresh activity at all sites on the first day of sampling with
higher concentrations in the southern half of the line. The activity on
the second day is diffused throughout the arc with concentrations
again generally higher in the southern sector. Prominent peaks are
observed for the ‘72-hr fallout-collector samples at Douglas and
Antelope; significantly, both these samples contained a large rainfall
