In order to initiate such a plan, it would be most helpful if you or your staff could provide the following information for each project you support relative to EV activities in the Islands. If appropriate and adequate information is not already available within Headquarters, it may be necessary or desirable to request that field personnel prepare such material. (For example, the medical program at BNL is already well down this road. Also, LLL says that they can comply without impacting on ongoing activities.) This material should include, but not necessarily be limited to, the following: 1. Objectives of the project 2. Questions being answered 3. Protocols 4. Methodologies 5. Schedules, including milestones, decision points and deadlines 6. Interfaces with other related projects a. b, Within the same lab With other labs 7. Format of results 8. Method(s) of communicating results and to whom 9. Reporting requirements 10. Anticipated future directions, various options and levels of effort, including a. Resources needed (funds, facilities, personnel, other) c. d. e. Implications of each option, pro and con Time factors Decision points b. Constraints (real or potential, ‘of whatever nature)
