The AEC Operations Plan for the July 1973 joint HSN-AEC Life Style
and Resettlcment Planning Trip to Ujelang Atoll follows:

PROGRAM:
Eniwetok Survey Activities.
PROGRAN OBJECTIVES:
By ALEC Headquarters direction RV was assigned
the responsibility for a study which will define the probable life
style pattern(s) of the Enivetokese people subsequent to their
return to Eniwetok Atoll.
‘his information, in conjunction with
the Rnivetak Radiolavieal Survey Renart currently being camni led,
will be used in the dose assessment analyses and in the development of Division of Operaticnal Safety, ANC Headquarters, (DOS)
recommendations regarding cicanmup activities. The information
will also be available to the U. S. Department of the Interior
(DOI) and the Department of Defense (Defense Nuclear Agency)
DOD/DNA for support of their cleanup and rehabilitation planning
activities.
To fulfill this assignment NV obtained the concurrence of the
District Administrator (DISTAD) of the Marshall Islands and an
invitation from the Ujelaug Magistrate to visit Ujelang Atoll
jointly with a Holmes and Narver tean wie under contract with
the Trust Territory of the Pacific Islands (77TPI), DESTAD of
the Marshall Islands, are working directly with the Eniwetokese
on all resettiement planning.

The living patterns and dietary considerations of significance
will be determined by obtaining direct input data from the Buiwetokese people residing at Ujelang. Exsapies of data to be
