At Meating 1361 on June 12, 1958, the Comatesionere discussed a
proposal by Mr. Libby to expand the announcement of shots in the HARDTACK series
to inelude the purpose of the shot, the place of firing, the yield in megaton
er kileten range, the coordinates of the firiag place to the nesrast sacoad and
the time of datenation to the nearest tenth of « seccad.
2. The Comslesioners, however, daferred a final decision on the
proposal until after the conglusion of Operation HARDTACK.
3. This will confirm that we will re-schedule this mattex for
consideration at an appropriate meeting in the fall.
