Tuesday 0055 - Col Pinson called from BIKINI, site at 0052, ETA at NAN 0215, 0330 - MAPLE postponed until 1330M. All personnel notified. MAPIE armed at 0020, A&F Team departed zero Col Pinson notified TEXAS, Next weather briefing at 0930, 1022 - TEXAS advised it was MAPIE=-1 again. b. All All personnel notified. (FAP) Following is a brief resume of UMBRELLA Hecovery Operations: (1) . 51 out of 60 floating film packs were recovered. (2) 20 out of 32 instrumented rocket nose cone cannisters were recovered. (3) All coracles were recovered. (4) Although the "hot water" sample obtained was not too good, there were some good cloud samples obtained by the B-57 sampling aircraft. - tk (5) The target array ships are being towed into the lagoon alongside the USS HOOPER ISLAND, The Navy will delay contamination procedures until all samples recovery operation are completed. The radiation level is low enough for all operations to be conducted, (FAP) 3. PERSONNEL: oe Col Lucke departed for BIKINI this afternoon on the Reflector Flight that departed at 1529, (FAP) &.
