Generel Airersft Deconteminatien Precedurecs,.
a.
The flight of an aircraft through an etomic cleud or its "fell-cut"
poses a preblem which centains many unpredictable fectors, 1l.e., type of
airereft, pressurizing, if eny, type ef ducting for cockpit nd engine oil
coeler lecation, jet, turbe-jet, or propeller driven, ctc.
b. Aftcr it has been det-rmined through monitering tht deceentaminatien
is necessary, aircraft will be docontaminatcd at a shere fecility at
ENIVETOK or BIKINI or on boerd the CVE, as circumstances indicate,.

Decontaminetien Operations on Bonrd a Carrier (Generel Critcria).
In decontamin-ting aircraft on beard a carrier, the fellowing fectors should
be stressed:

Area should be well isolated from persennel living speces,
