Dear Bill:

Enclosed is a letter from Elizabeth Farrington in regard to the
surveys which I think should be helpful to us. I do not see any

reason why the Bikini dispensary could not be used for whole body
counting if there is enough space.
It may be that I can find this

out or perhaps you might wish to.

I am also enclosing a copy of a letter from Billiet Edmond,

school

teacher at Rongelap, whose wife is here now being examined. He brings
up the subject of care for transient Rongelap cases at Ebeye. You may
have straightened this out by now.

If not I think tha, it would be wise

to make definite arrangements for these people in view of the feeling
that apparently exists at Rongelap.

I hope also that the Trust Territory

will move these people back to their home island on the first available
transportation,

We plan on taking patients to Cleveland on Sunday for operations

Monday and Tuesday.
They will be back here later that week.
We will
probably hold them here until the latter part of the following week.
I will of course let you know more specifically later.
With best

regards.

Sincerely,

Dat
Robert A. Conard, M.D.
