Dear Colonel MacDuff:
In connection with Lieutenant Schillerts investigation
of walrus mortality on St. Lawrece Island, we are enclosing
herewith his detailed report, as well as a few additional conmments and observations.

At the time this work was uwidertaken, Colonel Anderson
requested that a resume be made as goon as possible. At our
conference last week with Colonel Brown and Captain Boutelle,
it was pointed out to us what was desired in the way of a report
to the Director of Intelligence.

journal, along with considerable other material which has been
gathered in connection with our work on St. Lawrence Island. We

restrictions placed upon this information, or parts of it.
