materials. Zach of these islands,for example,maintainedhourlyjeep patrolsfor observationof the

stations. In addition,the followingguardpostswere
established:
a. Port ‘Control
Point. The sergeantof the ~nard and
2 enlistedtienwere stationedat the Port Control
Point over a 2L hour period. Lacomtigtrafficfrom
the water was stoppedhere, registeredand checked
for badgesand accesspermitor entxy list authorizations.
b. Air ControlPosts. At the air strips(For small
planesof the b5 type),1 sentrywas stationed
from 0700 to 1900 hours. His dutieswere the same
as those of sentriesat Port ControlPoints.

Zero Towers. At least 1 guardwas shtioned at each
of the tower areasover a 2& hour period.

Timer and BlastStations. 1 guardeach was stationed
at these installations
duringthe non-workinghours
of 1800 to 0600.
