therewould be no delay to the paperwhen it was c)onsiclered

time and some of th~ reasoningbehindthem.
Decisionto use EnlwetokrathertiaiY
Kwajelein(Roi-?hunur):
Two
siteswere consideredfor the tests- Miwetok Atolland hajalein (RoiNwwr).
An analysisfndioatedtiat the logisticeffortand that the
overallcostwould b~ slightlyless (approximately
$70,000)at RoiNamur. This base was closerto Oahu, and also to the !Uavybase at
Kwajalein. However,these logiatiaconsiderations
were sufficiently
minor to be overruledbecauseEniwetokwas more suitablefrom other
standpoints.(In praotiaethe tiiwetoksite workedout well from a
logisticviewpoint.)
