Eniwetok Island - Radsafe Party No. 2
The radsafe party in Eniwetok Island consisted of Captain
enti and two assistants.
The first members of this party arrived
on Eniwetok Island, 30 March.
A radiological safety center was
established in the radiochemistry laboratory.
This location was
in close proximity to the drone parking area and proved to be ideal
for the mission at hand.
A TCS radio was installed by the Island
Commander's communications office and continual watch was kept on
this circuit with the Radsafe Center on the MT LiCKINLEY and Radops
on the BAIROKO.
Complete rehearsals were held on PETER X-RAY Day
with the drone landings and it was estimated that two monitors
could handle the filter removal operation.
At 0725 following the shot the first drone plane landed.

all the personnel involved.

unloaded and on their way to the states.
