In drawing up the és@S#Pi cation&$zconsideration was given to the particular
types of instruments being obtained ani their probable use under tropical
climate conditions; e.g. all portable electronic survey instruments were
to be provided with loose transparent plastic rain covers.
On"5’Novembér 1047 a memorandum for Colone] @gggi from Major Qs
indicated that the survey instruments which had been requested were
under procurement by the AEC.
