Dear Dr. McDaniel:
As agreed upon in our discussion with Dr. Smyth in his office
the afternoon of 25 February, I have dispatched a memorandum to
AFOAT-1 which authorizes that agency to provide the British with
Long Range Detection filter papers exposed during Operation CASTLE,
A copy of the AFOAT-1 request is attached as Inclosure 1.
Inclosure 2 is a copy of my reply.
