Therefore, the following persons are meeting in Honolulu starting
July 18, in order to consider the next draft and to ascertain ways
of expressing information in a manner understandable to the Enewetak
people.

1} Mrs. Alice Buck, translator. Currently translating the Bible
into Marshallese, she comes with highest recommendation from Bob Kiste,
the High Commissioner of the Trust Territory, Ted Mitchell and
Mrs. Van Cleve.

3) Dr. John Imin, a Gilbertese physician practicing in the Marshall
Islands and currently taking psychiatry training in Honolulu

Conversations with Mrs. Buck and with Dr..Kiste indicate that 1-2 weeks
should be allowed for this first effort, with a second meeting of 7-10

days to follow about a month later.

After the first meeting a draft

text should be available for review and comment.
Except for Dr. Bair
and myself, all participants expect to remain at the first meeting as
long as necessary.
(Dr. Bair must return for your meeting on the 25th,

and I plan to attend a meeting of the users of the Liktanur at Livermore
on July 24--and discuss the Enewetak dose assessment also.)
