at Fred. Pebble Red Four crashed at 1048, approximately three riles
from Fred on a magnetic heading of 301° from Fred. Sugar Cne was

approximately 30 miles from the crash at 1048.

Sugar One was assigned mission cor:.and over four helicopters.
Sugar Cae at 500 feat proceeded outbound from Fred on a heeading of 301°
for trent<y riles and returned on the sare track as Febble Red Four by
using VHF D/F steers from Fred tower.
Sugar One searched 3/4 of the
tegpon at 500 feet, in a creeping line search on magnetic hezding of

683° end 263° covering an area of 1120N, 16230E to 1120N, 162052.to
1135%, 16205E to 1135N, 162032. I had the helicopters search the area
of the crzsh and lagoon end reef area in the vicinity. Tyo helicopters
es ing line searches. The helicopters cound one glove, three
at the ssene of the scarch. Cne heliccrter saw
from Pebble Red Tour before Fis crash lending.
