W. A. Krotoski and Russell Giynn in the recent annual medical survey of the Marshall Islanders who had been exposed to radioactive: fallout in 1954. Both of these physicians were extremely cooperative and helpful and both contributed a great deal to the success of the survey. Dr. Krotoski with his competence in tropical medicine was particularly helpful in diagnosis and advice regarding certain diseases among the Marshallese. We hope to have his continued follow-up assistance and advice on certain phases of the program. One of these is an attempt to get rid of or reduce the intestinal parasite burden of the inhabitants of Rongelap Island. Dr. Glynn is a most competent internist and we appreciated his careful examinations and advice. Both doctors related well to the Marshallese people and participated actively in treatment and patient counsel. Both were well liked and it was a pleasure to have them with us. Again, we are most grateful to all of you in the Public Health Service for your help and I hope that you may consider favorably such assistance in the future. Sincerely, Robert A. Conard, M.
