Bikini Atoll is one of two sites in the northern Marshall Islands

by the United States as testing grougds for nuclear devices from 1946 to
1958.

The U.S. code names for the nuclear tests! are shown in Table 2, and

the approximate locations¢+3 of these tests are indicated in Fig. 1.
