Microfilm of original testual records of Dr. E.0. Lawrence, founder and
first director of Radiation Laboratory, renamed the Lawrence Radiation

Laboratory. The records present detailed documentation of Lawrence's
life and career, and the development, administration, and scientific

projects and instruments, including the cyclotrons, of the Laboratory.
The collection includes correspondence (letters, telegrams, telephone

transcripts), reports, newsclippings, notes, expense records, and

experiment notebooks.

*Folder, "Hamilton, Joseph G., General" contains letter concerning
Joseph Hamilton's records and their location. These records include

Project Gabriel data, Crossroads data, 1945-1948, Radiological Warfare
Chemistry Corps correspondence and reports, 1947-54.
