These records are the photocopies of documents related to the Human Radiation Records Retrieval Project at
Lawrence Berkeley Laboratory (LBL). They document the development of experiments using isotopes for the
purposesof diagnosis, therapy, research on somatic effects, and uptake by the human body from 1935 to the early
1980's. Documents are variously kept by subject, by provenance order, and by date. The series is divided into the

This series represents the bulk of material available related to Human Radiation Experiments at the above institutions. Some
