first director of the Radiation Laboratory, renamed the Lawrence Radiation
Laboratory after his death.
The records present detailed documentation of
Lawrence's life, projects, and career, and instruments, including the
cyclotrons, of the Laboratory. The collection includes correspondence
(letters, telegrams, telephone transcripts), reports, newsclippings,
notes, expense records, experimental notebooks. Letter, Carroll L. Tyler
