T.e shortages of T/D personnel for operation of essential post functions (such as depot supply, post exchange, laundry, mess, ete.) were largely alleviated during the period, 10/&E unite such as the 4th Transportation Truck Company and the 511th Trensportation Port ‘Company had returned to them most of the personnel detailed to those functions by 31 August. Critical HOS shortages were few, and in all cases the unit was able to provide the necess@ry skills, either through on-the-job treining or through the trensfer of personnel, within the unit, from section to section. “Mre Leo Henning was assigned and joined on 16 July 1952 as Field . Assignment of this Red Cross representative will be of mterial assistance to this command in per= - forming such recurring activities &s home conditions reports, hospital visits, counseling, etc. 2. Effective 26 August, the unit was discontinued by Department of the Army Orders.
