MOTOR
Responsibilities of the Garrison Force for land transportation
was limited to motor vehicles and equipment operating on iniwetok
Zaland and amphibious vehicles used in security sweps, relief of
Naval watches om the Crash Boat, etc, All vebicles were pooled for
operation, maintenance and dispatch under supervision of the staff
Transportation Officer,
Personnel provided ia the T/D for operation of the motor pool
included a total of SS EM, 27 B for operations and 26 Ordnance for
maintenance,
