Dear Dr, Shipman:
As of this date I have a little more information to report to you than
in the last letter.
Sorry this one has been so long in "whelping", but I thought
I'd best wait until the big boy was out of the way so that I could let you know
how we made out.
I!11 admit that this is just another way of saying that I was
rather lazy, for I should have kept you posted after Lacrosse,
So far we have been very lucky.
I don't know wether or not I should

in the coral sands and hope that nothing drastic happens in the future,

I believe that work here at those particular islands is being
supported from either house boats or directly fro: Elmer.
The main thing, of course,
is the fact that work is progressing; rad-safe has not been pestered or cursed
about delays.
The big one at Bikini the other day was not too much of a surprise to
us, I think we all expfected to see very little of the atoll declared a "radex"
area.
I must admit that it was a little astounding te make thet pre-entry survey
and keer reading "zero",
