Meeting #1752, 23 June 1961: vous In a discussion of AEC 1029/19, the Chairman noted this 22 June letter from Gilpatric’ which informed the AEC of Bundy's request for a draft of the AEC-DOD paper on the resumption of testing. Thus, the Chairman requested preparation of a draft of the AEC position by 26 June. Meeting #1753, 28 June 1961: The AEC budget review committee, having just completed a tour of the AEC laboratories, presented comments on the budget needs and associated programs, including test related funding, of LASL, Sandia, and Livermore, among others. The comments are extracted for future reference in our files. Note that there was essentially no mention of the subject of test resumption explicitly in the Commission meetings at all during the summer until after test resumption in September.
