The latest word on the first of the.
principal weapons tested at Eniwetok on Sunday,
May 20th, is as follows:
.
(a} The bomb detonated at the planned
altitude, approximately 5,000 ft., but
there was a lateral error of 2.6 miles
in zero point. This error will result
in substantial loss of measurement data.
(b} No radiological hazards are known to
exist and there was no damage to AEC
installations.
(c) The yield estimate was|
megatons.
