The distribution of the activity in the soil, plants and organisms will not be determined by a simple survey of surface Contamination.
The estimates in this paper, along with such a survey, would be useful
tn determining such a distribution from the following kinds of additional
data:

water table height and varietton
b.)
physical characteristics of the soil strata
c.)
plant categories and root depth.
