EG&G installed voice count down receiver with commlete antenna installation
on African Queen at 0900 hours this date.
At 1005 hours received word that VIP
trip aboard African Queen had been cancelled.

Informed BGG to remove radio ~

At 1120 hours word was received to re-install voice count down receiver in
African Cueen. Notified EG&G and commenced immediately. Radio egquinment installed
and checked out by 11h5 hours.
Upon Barkley's suggestion contacted George Berrow (TG 7.5 Communications) in
regards to use of circuit J-135 for use by Rad-Safe Personnel at Bikini Atoll.
Rarrow agreeable to loaning subject circuit to Rad-Safe. This "loan" will be
satisfactory for our use as can be used as long as TU~7 may require.
Tvacuation Re-entry & Recovery
Rad-Safe survey departed at 1356 hours and was cormleted at 155 hours.
Ontlv the Janet and above photo tower recoveries were authorized since the Gene
Complex was reading 600 - 900 K on the ground.
