Among the 82 exposed Marshallese thyroid abnormality has been diagnosed in 1] cases. In 5 additional cases the diagnosis is questionable. it is my understanding that evidence of this latent effect is causing modification of earlicr medical views on the radiation sensitivity of the thyroid gland.
