The power agreements negotiated with € countries also cover
research reactors.
Twelve (12) cooperating countries have awarded contracts to six
(6) American ecuipment manufacturers for the construction and installation
of sixteen (15) research reactors.

Present policy provides for the lease of enriched fuel for use
in research reactors abroad.
G. TRAINING AND EDUCATION

The program to train technically competent foreign nationals for
foreign atomic energy programs has been expanded since the previous progress
report.
The 53rd basic radicisotope technique course offered by the Sjecial
Training Division, Oak Ridge Institute of Nuclear Studies, opened in Seytember,
1956, with an enrollment of 15 U. S. scientists from
