In reply to your letter of October 21, 1958, the support formerly
furnished scientists who work at the Eniwetok Marine Biological
laboratory is still available. This includes MATS transporta-
tion, use of the laboratory, housing, and related facilities
which are required.
Some change from past operations is involved as we understand
Joint Task Force SEVEN is reimbursing MATS for use of their fa-
cilities.
There is no charge to the AEC for this transportation,
provided the scientists employed are on official business and
you have determined there is a need for their presence at
Eniwetok.
