Request blanket authority be provided Commander, Fnewetak Atoll to utilize Army open medical allotment for qgagmplk and pew diem of Amy personnel assigned to Rugeetak. 2. Field Command, Defense Nuclear Agency, a multi-service organiza~- tion, has Army personnel PCS to Rnewetak Atoll. Their assignment is in conjunction with a special DOD project of approximately three years | duration. Although the Air Force provides some medical/dental care of-° Atoll their capability is very limited. Tripler Army Medical Center is. the primary source for medical/dental care, both emergency evacuation or more reutine examinations beyond the Atoll capability. Both the Atoll Commander and Medical Officer must concur in the requirement for off=Atoll medical/dental care.
