The distribution of the activity in the soil, plantg and organ¥sms will not be determined by a simple survey of surface c@ntamination. The estimates in this paper, along with such a survey, would be useful in determining such a distribution from the following kindsfof additional data: a.) water table height and variation b.) physical characteristics of the soil strate c.) plant categories and root depth.
