The objective cf this test was to determine the delivery
capetility of the B-52 aircraft,
INSTRIMENT ATION
Instrumentation of the B-52 consisted of 316 cscillograph channels
which recorded measurements from strain-gage tridges, accelerometers,
thermocouples, pressure trarnducers, calorimeters, roll an? pitch gyros,
radiometers, and control position transJucers.
In addition, 16 cameras
reeerde? photo-recorier instruments, wing deflection, cloud ccverage,
and fireball rise and growth,
