he drones sterted coming in at either 7 or & o'clock et intervals
of meybe five mizutss. These dronss were texied to the end of the
runway end picked up by a truck, brought into a stsll. We waited
ecng distance avay -- I don't mov how far it ves, at least 100 feet,
until a truck with a fork lift went in and got its for into position
for the top filter units. Then M+l Bownen ran dbehini « wing and
Ԥigegered 6 leryera for the upper un{t, then the filter unit was
lecsensd. The truck becked up ebaout titty feet from the plens, vent
om an ensie diesomsl to the plens, sey ebout 25 feet, and stopped.

Did Cozmender Vendergriff make any measurencnts?
A.
Yes, et leest during or before the fork lift wert torerd the plane
he made a measurement. He made the measurement by running up towerd
the noses of ths plane, it must have been the bottom filter unit, then
ran away from tha plane.

And that was a signal for you?
He didn't give us any signal.
(In regerd to radiation)
We had put on rubber gloves and white cotton gloves before ws vent
mear the plane. After the fork lift had stopped,
and I
trotted towards the lift.

Did you put the gloves on before or after the plane was in sight?
A.
I believe while it was in sight, I can't remember.

Where did you get the gloves?
Mal Bownan made them available to-us.
Bevy fatigues and the gloves.
We had protective clothing --

What did you do after you trotted up to the plans?
A.
We tried to get there at the same time so that there vould be no
lost time. We grebbed the filter unit from the fork lift of the
