Reference io made te my letter dated August i, 1969, requesting your aseistance in the initiation of a lease agreement for
the subject facility.
We have decided & would be umrise te proceed with construction
of a permanent type medical examination facility at this time.
Accordiagly, you are requested te take no action to secure 5
lease agreement as requested ia my August i letter.
it new appeare it will be seme time before any of the islands
of the atoll are eecupied en a permanent basis. In the event &
is necessary te conduct medical examinations before a perma-
nent facility ic availeble, we propose te provide Dr, Conard
with a temporary facility.
