DESCRIPTION OF WORK:
This Engineering Work Order is issued to accumlate all engineering costs incurred for scientific program planning (exclusive of Management Engineering) not specifically identifiable to a scientific construction project but which is required to
fulfill contractural management obligations.

Functions performed as a part of Scientific Program Planning Engineering include
but are not limited to:

Assist Users in the development of criteria,
General topographic and triangulation surveys performed for the purpose of preparing maps or plot plans of all islands or areas used or to be used for scien_ tific purposes.
3. Preliminary design, cost estimates, and reports providing management with information on which to plan for current or future scientific requirements.
4. Studies of past experience and methoas to promote greater efficiency in planning
future scientific facilities.
5. Development of standard specifications relating to construction of scientific
installations.
6. Other general surveys, reports and studies concerning islands or areas used or
te be used for scientific purposes,
7. Professional services, such as consultants, laboratory analysis, and other
engineering services related to Scientific Program Planning Engineering.
User and AEC requests for specific engineering requirements will be covered by
Identification Numbers issued or to be issued.
