Dear Will:
Under separate cover J am returning to you the Tritiated water
which we used on 12 subjects on the island of Fnitwetok. I am
also sending you in the same package samples of plasma from
each of these persons. These were drawn between 4 and 5 hours
after oral administration. Attached to this letter are the
names, ages, heights and weights of each of the volunteers.

We had an interesting but short trip. The blood volume studies
were only incidental to the major purpose of our survey.
Actually, we were mors concerned with the hyper-coagualability
of cocomt crab serum,
Unfortunately, my trip did not take
me through San Francisco and I regret not seeing you and your
family and the Weavers.
As you might expect, we are very busy here and I am enjoying
my work immensely.
