Extended Meddeal Care in
Marshall Islands
A
On Aucust during a telephone conversation with Walter Weyzen,
I was informed that nothing as yet has been done, However, he believes there is zoins to he Congressional pressure to give further
medical care at least within the groups that have directly or in-
dtrectly been involved with fallout {in one way or another. Pressure
is arising from within both the House of Representatives and the
Senate to do something, and he will keep us informed. As of the
moment, there ts nothing for us to do.
Weyzen thoroughly understands
that it will take a substantial additional amount of money and that
we cannot do it out of existing budget and manpower.
