Dear Mr. Shoecraft:
Reference is made to my letter HOA:INGR-4039, dated July 2i,
1967 which requested your assistance in securing for our con-
tinuing use an ares in the center of the Island of Rongelap, €en-
taining the AEC Medical Survey facilities, and an area on Usirik
along with three buildings which are also for use by the AEC
Medical Survey Tearn.
Since our planning considere the continued use of these two sites,
we would appreciate your advising us of the statue of the arrangernaents between the Trust Territory and the land owners with respect te the AEC Medical Survey Team's future usage of these areas.
Your cooperation in this matter will be most helpful.
