During the early phase of Operation RARDTACK, prior to the commercement
of operation of the JTF SEVEN Fallout Prediction Unit (FOPU), blast and
thermal data for prediction of effects letters were computed in the J-3
office. It was Lelieved that FOPU would furnish the recuired data upon
arrival. However, it now appears that this projJect requires too much
time and takes FOPU away from their basic mission of fallout prediction,
Therefore, J~3 will continue to compute the data end a representative of
TU-1 (J-10) will verify data before publication.
