D. Water
Table 21 suggests a relatively high ratio of
activity associated with thefiltrate. However,
it is probable that much of the insoluble material had settled out, therefore, the values do
not represent all of the radioactive material
that fell on these surfaces. In fact, data from
other fallouts suggest a value of about 10-20%
solubility.
Tables 18,‘ 21,? and 22 ? show additional data
on gross activity found in water sources. Table
23 gives the analyses by HASL.*
