that there will be a mmber of clainus resulting from contamination of
personal effects left, according to Task Force instructions, on Tare
ani Nan at Bikini. A eurvey board is being set up there which will

include Kalph Carlisle Beith, LASL, and representatives from Holmes
and Barver and the Eniwetok Field Office of AEC.

It appears from information at hand that local decontanination is out of the question and that the entire amount contaminated
wild need to be disposed of at the site. There will be approximately

75 claims received from members of the Los Alamos Scientific Labcratory
