Harley Dear Mre Harley: In accordance with your request of September nwo have gathered samples of sea water and live coral thefollowing islands and atolls: Kwajalein, Jaluit, Kili, Kusaie, Ujelang, and Wotho. Today we turned the above samples over to Mr. C. W. Kelley, Resident Project Manager at Eniwetok. He is transporting then to Eniwetok for shipment to you by U.S. Air Force facilities, and you should receive them in the near future, Each container is labeled with the Location and date of sampling. A reference to hydrographic charts will give you exact latitude and longitude. During December and January we plan to make a complete circuit of all the atolls, and we should be able to complete a fairly wide coverage of the Marshalls area, However, our present supply of 5- galion and lecalion tins will not be adequate for this complete project. We suggest you send us another shipment of three dozen each of both types of containers, Very truly yours, LG ; e Ve ; Steele { Acting District Administrator 90023492
