This station was a secondary station dn the USS Bowditch Survey Bak.
It has
not been included in any subsequent triangulation schemes, but coordinate
lo-~
cation of the station has been compated using the 194d geographic position
computations and the station has been used as & third order, station as needed.

This station was recovered in good edition. The statdén mark is a standard
block flush with the ground surface at the intersection of the diagonals of
the footings of the 100! steel navigation tower which is erected over the
station.

RM's #1 and #2 were set as a part of the recovery survey.
They are standard
2.5/8" diameter brass discs stamped "RM #1 (2) - Lantana - USN-1944".
They
are set, in concrete filled 5" diameter cans, set in the top of concrete monuments.
