2.4.1
Conclusions
1, The present system of personnel procurement for temporary duty is unsatisfactory
since screening of personnel prior to selection is not practiced.
2. Slow staff action in the procurement of personnel delays security clearances, as well
as the effective organization and training of unit personnel.
2.4.2
Recommendations
1, The task unit commander should interview and select personnel to be placed on temporary duty with the unit prior to the issuance of orders.
2. The task unit should request early authority to deal directly with organizations furnishing personnel.
